To check your Civil ID status, follow the below-mentioned steps on your mobile phone.

Step 1: Go to the PACI envelope system official website and change the language to English, if needed. 

Step 2: Click the “Update Latin Name for Non-Kuwaitis” icon or link. It will open a new page.

Step 3: Enter your Civil ID and Serial Number on the Main Data form. Remember that you can only update your name if you have submitted your Civil ID for renewal. Otherwise, you will receive an error message.

Step 4: Enter your valid mobile phone number and email address. It is required, as you will receive a verification code to authenticate the changes.

Step 5: Complete all the fields (blood type is optional, but you need to provide a lab report if you intend to change your blood type).

Step 6: Upload all supporting and required documents, including the Copy of Civil ID, personal photo, residency page, and passport first page.

Step 7: Once submitted, you will receive an application number on your registered mobile number. Use this number for future correspondence.

Step 8: After internal verification, you will receive a link if your application is approved. By using the link, you must make a payment of KD 5.

Step 9: After payment confirmation, you will have to wait for a few days before getting your updated civil ID.
