Best Hair Replacement System for You

Nowadays, there are a very large number of hair replacement systems available.

So you naturally wonder which one is better.

The answer is: it depends on the situation. There is much different hair replacement system because they all take into account individual preferences and life choices. What works for one person may not work for another.

The best Hair replacement system is divided into categories based on the type of coverage they provide. There are usually five different categories:
Top of the head hairstyles.
Upper head hair systems, as the name implies, specialize in covering the top of the head. They are usually oval or round in shape and range in size from 4″ x 6″ to 8″ x 10″.

This type of hair system is usually made of three different types of material: Fine Mono Mesh (FMM), French Lace or skin grafts.
Thin Mono Mesh is durable, can be attached with glue and tape, and is quite versatile when working with hair-cutting materials. The only disadvantage of FMM is that it can be noticeable depending on the density of the hair: The lighter the density, the easier it is to see.

French lace is lighter and more transparent. It consists of a single layer of breathable material that provides incredible invisibility to the front hairline as well as the rest of the hair system. As mentioned earlier, it is recommended for less dense hair.

Finally, there is skin grafting. The base of the skin graft system consists of a single layer of polyurethane, which can range in thickness from very thin to thick. As the thickness of the skin increases, the density of the hair can increase.

Say you are looking for a little more coverage than the hair system on the top of your head, but don’t need a full wig yet, then look no further than a 3/4″ wig. A 3/4″ wig goes to half of the back of the head.

Full Wig

If you want full head coverage, you can’t go wrong with a full wig. Full wigs go all the way to the back of your head, and the choice of material is the same as for a 3/4 hat.

They are versatile enough that you can attach them to your scalp with everyday tape, duct tape or liquid tape. The choice is up to you.

The last two options are a little different:

Integrating bases

Integrating bases can also cover the top of the head, but they solve a different problem. While top-of-the-head systems are used to cover bald areas on the top of the head, integrating bases are used to cover areas where thinning hair is becoming a problem.

They are great for covering thinning hair and supplementing existing hair with additional hair for an overall thicker, longer hair effect.

Hair extensions

Hair extensions are a different animal, but they still offer some very interesting possibilities: Want to add length to your hair? That’s possible, too. How about adding thickness or density? That’s not a problem either. Do you want to change your look quickly? Then you can stop looking.

The biggest benefits of hair extensions are instant gratification and versatility. You can change your look instantly and wear them for hours or months at a time.

Have you started noticing thinning hair on the top of your head? Then consider apart at the top of your head or an integrating base. Want to cover a larger area? Try a full wig. Do you want to add length or volume to your existing hair? Then you should opt for hair extensions.
